Fall 2022 Spring 2023 Meal Plans Information

WEEKLY PLANS

Eligibility: All Students are eligible to purchase. Students living in Barton, Douglass, Tower A, Tower B, Tower C, Tower D, Newell, Richmond, Prettyman, Scarborough, 10 West (certain floors) and Residence Tower are required to maintain at least a 10 meal per week plan.

5 Meals per week with 200 Dining Points (senior residents and commuters only)

UNDERSTANDING THE WEEKLY PLANS

  • Weekly plans allow you to use the purchased numbers of meals each week
  • The meal plan week runs from Friday breakfast through Thursday dinner
  • Meals must be used each week or are lost. Unused meals will not roll over to the next week
  • Meals are best used at the dining halls where you swipe once and eat all you care to eat. Food from the dining halls cannot be taken to go
  • Meals swiped at locations outside of the three dining halls are valued at $6.72. Any balance due over $6.72 can be paid by cash, credit, swiping another meal, or dining points
  • With the unlimited plan, you may swipe into any of the three all-you-care-to-eat dining halls every 15 minutes during hours of operation. You may only swipe one meal per day outside of the dining halls
  • With the 21 meal per week plan, you may a maximum of 4 meals each day

BLOCK PLANS

Eligibility: Students who commute and residents of Barnes Hall, Harris Hall, Millennium Hall, Marshall Hall, Tubman House, The Residence at Ten West (Floors 6 through 15) and Towson Run

UNDERSTANDING THE BLOCK PLANS

  • Plans are good through the fall and spring semester. Meals not used in the fall semester can be used during the spring semester. All meals must be used by the end of the spring semester
  • If you use all your meals before the end of the year, you can buy another Block Plan once your current meal balance drops below 6 meals
  • Meals are best spent at the three dining halls: West Village, Newell, and the Glen. There, you swipe once for entry and eat all you care to eat. Food from the dining halls cannot be taken to go
  • Meals swiped at any location outside of the three dining halls are valued at $6.72. Any balance due over $6.72 can be paid by cash, credit, swiping another meal, or dining points
  • Meal plans begin the Friday before the semester starts and are effective through the end of the semester

DINING POINTS

All meal plans come with an allotment of dining points for the semester. Dining points are dollar for dollar, so 1 point equals 1 dollar. Unused Dining Points roll over from one semester to the next and year to year, as long as you remain a student at Towson University. Dining points balances do not renew each week. Additional points may be added at anytime through this website or at the Auxiliary Services Business Office.
